How It Works
Extreme office temperature is the number one complaint of office workers today. Overheating or overcooling reduces worker productivity, drives up utility costs, and defeats energy conservation efforts. The cause of these problems is often a conventional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system that delivers a “one size fits all” approach to temperature control. This approach produces an “unbalanced” heating and cooling environment. Conventional HVAC systems fail to provide room level temperature control and are thus unable to satisfy the comfort demands of individual employees.
The Personal Air System combines wireless communication technology, smart algorithms, and a revolutionary power management system to deliver a simple, low cost solution to an age-old problem. The system has three components:

Patented Vent Units that are easy to install just above your drop ceiling. Invisible to the user, a wireless damper in each Vent Unit silently regulates air flow into the room. A 5+ year battery life and solid state design ensures that every Vent Unit will work reliably for many years. |

A Personal Thermostat that allows each user to set a desired room temperature from the convenience of a desktop device. The sleek, compact design conceals a simple, intuitive user interface. The Personal Thermostat has been architected with “set and forget” programming, making this one of the simplest electronic devices you will ever use |

A System Controller that ensures all Vent Units and Personal Thermostats work in harmony with a building’s existing HVAC system. The System Controller software provides numerous administrative options including the ability to optimize the system for superior comfort or superior cost savings. Of course, the system can be accessed remotely via the Internet if desired. |
